Author: Sławomir Zwierzchlewski
This work depicts various aspects of the market and state functioning at both the micro and macroeconomic level. The subject matter encompasses both the domestic and supranational aspects of the issues under discussion. The analyses conducted in particular parts of this work are both theoretical and empirical in character. In the latter case, the authors present the experiences of Poland and other countries such as Slovakia and Germany as well as the entire EU. The range of topics included in the monograph proves that market functioning and state activities are problematic issues difficult to be described both in a positive and normative depiction. Consequently, it is a complicated task to define in practice clear market-state relations.
