The Challenges of Security in Central Europe

The Polish Political Science Yearbook invites all scholars to participate in the 3rd PPSY International Seminar The Challenges of Security in Central Europe (February 21, 2017, Toruń). The conference supports the special section of the volume 46 (1) (2017) and its objective is to present current advancements in Central European security studies.
The organisers invite authors with papers, posters and presentations related to following issues:
Central European cooperation in the field of security,
Central European national strategies of security,
Changing roles of the NATO and the US in Central Europe,
Russian new policy towards Central Europe
Central European nations and the war on terror,
New challenges for Central European security in the 21st Century.
All submitted papers will be fast-track reviewed for PPSY 46 (1) of 2017 (the peer-reviewed and indexed international journal, Polish List B 13 points). The PPSY Special Section on Central European security will be published in the journal in MayJune 2017.
How to Apply: please submit the Online Application Form before January 29, 2017. Decisions will be announced on January 31, 2017.
Forms of Participation: the organisers accept presentation of papers and posters.
Participation Fee: 250 PLN or 60 EUR, paid before February 7, 2017. The fee does not include the accommodation and costs of travel.
